Speaking & Workshops

Mel Fox Dhar, career strategist, speaking in front of a women leadership affininty organisation in London, UK

I speak about what happens when capable leaders aren't being read at the level they operate.

Most senior professionals don't have a skills problem. They have a signal problem — the market, the room, or the system can't see what they actually bring.

My talks and workshops help experienced leaders close that gap: between how they think and how they're heard, between the judgment they exercise and the story that reaches the people evaluating them.

I work primarily with audiences in and around Big Tech — ERGs, leadership development programmes, conferences, and teams navigating senior hiring and career transitions.

The brand you already have (and how to make it work harder)

Talent Development Academy · Expert Coaching Sessions · May 2026

Most people in senior roles already have a personal brand inside their organisation — it's in how their work gets described when they're not in the room, what they get pulled into, and whether leadership sees them as delivering a service or shaping strategy. Few have ever deliberately examined that brand or decided whether it's working for them.

This is a working session: participants identify their actual superpowers, look at where their internal brand is currently showing up — and where it's leaking — and make deliberate choices about positioning that match their capability, whether they're staying, stretching, or starting to look around.

Situational Confidence: how to hold authority when the interview tries to take it

Aligned & Hired: The Executive Interview Summit · April 2026

Senior leaders over-prepare on content and under-prepare on composure. The gap shows up the moment a question lands wrong — and the instinct is to scramble rather than steer.

This session covers what's actually happening in those moments, how to hold your ground without performing confidence, and includes a live exercise where participants feel the difference between a defensive answer and a grounded one.

More than a Mentor: how to be seen, supported and sponsored

Women in Amazon Business · July 2025

Strong work doesn't automatically build the credibility that travels with you. In large organisations especially, how your judgment is understood by the people around you matters as much as the judgment itself.

This session helps participants understand how advocacy actually forms inside organisations — and what to do when their work is strong but their visibility isn't matching.

Bring me in for your team or event

I design sessions for ERGs, leadership offsites, conferences, and teams going through transitions. Topics sit at the intersection of career strategy, personal brand, and how senior professionals are evaluated inside complex systems.

If you have a specific audience and challenge in mind, let's talk about what would be most useful.
